About Activity

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) is a joint global initiative—supported by major international donors like the World Bank, the European Union, Conservation International, and the Global Environment Facility, alongside the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in this region—designed to safeguard Earth's most biologically rich and threatened biodiversity hotspots by directly empowering civil society organizations.

For this specific regional call, the fund provides small grants ($50,000 or under) and large grants ($50,000 to $250,000) for projects operating within the Indo-Burma Hotspot (covering non-marine areas of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and parts of southern China) to protect priority threatened species, combat illegal wildlife trade under a One Health framework, and build organizational capacity for local civil society and Indigenous-led groups.
